Dr. Jean Hill
Dr. Jean Hill

Dr. Jean Hill is a cake sculpted proposal for Socrates Sculpture Park in NYC. Dr. Jean Hill is a 30' x 30' man-made above ground hill made with layers of soil, rubbish and disgarded blue jeans and overprinted newspapers from NYC distribution pick-ups. An artist negotiated halal goat will be acquired from an outer borough butcher. Together the artist and goat will commute to the installation site to reap the benefits of a grass-fed diet, while simultaneously mowing the nitrogen rich clover growing land-fill mini-ecosystem.

Dr. Jean Hill is a commentary on man-made land, reclaimed landfill, waste, ecological animal feed and sustainable energy saving tactics. The performative mapping of goat transport will be changed weekly, based on source location and permission.
